On November 6 during CIIE, Xu Datong, Vice Governor of Shaanxi Province attended and addressed the Shaanxi Procurement and Investment Seminar and Multinational Enterprises Roundtable.
At the seminar, a total of 19 import procurement contracts with an amount of 11.66 billion Yuan were signed. Eight contracts of investment cooperation projects were signed with a total investment of 2.06 billion Yuan. Mr. Xu said at the roundtable that the Shaanxi Provincial Party Committee and Shaanxi Provincial Government attach great importance to participating in the CIIE and will build a platform for exhibitors and entrepreneurs to negotiate and cooperate in various ways. This roundtable is expected to help more foreign enterprises to understand Shaanxi and make further investment. Representatives from more than 40 foreign enterprises and institutions, including Honeywell, Alstom, ABB Hitachi and Japan Trade Promotion Agency, attended the meeting to enhance mutual understanding and discuss cooperation initiatives.
