The 2019 Euro-Asia Economic Forum kicked off in Xi'an, capital of Shaanxi province, on Sept 10. Politicians, businessmen, and scholars from 58 countries across the world gathered in the city to discuss cooperation and the development of the Belt and Road.

Through multi-disciplinary and multi-level dialogue between European and Asian countries, the three-day event aims to promote the formation of partnerships involving countries, international organizations, large enterprises, and local governments.
It features an opening ceremony and a plenary session, as well as 10 sub-forums related to finance, ecology, cultural tourism, meteorology, and technology.
The 2019 Euro-Asia Economic Forum attracts politicians, businessmen, and scholars from 58 countries across the world.
During the forum, media delegation visits, advanced manufacturing project roadshows, and an international innovation design week will also be held.
Launched in 2015, the Euro-Asia Economic Forum is held every two years. It has become one of the important platforms for China, as well as Asian and European countries to build the Belt and Road.

At present, it has contributed to more than 70 foreign cooperation intentions, such as the Kaiyuan City Development Fund and the multinational digital library construction.
