Chinese New Year vibes: tradition and tech meet near Langshan Mountain

With Chinese New Year around the corner, hundreds of people who have returned hometown for Spring Festival gathered near Langshan Mountain—a UNESCO World Natural Heritage site and national 5A scenic spot in Xinning county, Central China's Hunan Province.

The gathering featured traditional folk activities like pounding ciba (steamed glutinous rice), making crispy rice candy and preparing a traditional community feast.

Modern technology also played a role, with drones scattering candy over the crowd.
