The 2019 Tuole Forum was successfully held in Tuole village, Panzhou, Southwest China's Guizhou province on Oct 15. During the forum, over 500 guests from countries and regions involved in the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) shared opinions on BRI construction.

During the Forum, six sub forums on the agriculture industry, poverty alleviation, infrastructure construction, tourism, and the green economy were also held. In addition, 30 cooperation projects worth 41.76 billion yuan ($5.89 billion) were signed.

Panzhou became the city of friendship with Cambodia's Kampong Thom, which will further enhance the city's cooperation with BRI countries.

Since first being held in 2016, the forum has provided opportunities for investors and companies to communicate form find mutually beneficial relationships.
