Zahoor Alam, from Pakistan, is a master student of biology at Northwestern Polytechnical University. Before coming to China, Zahoor Alam only knew that Shaanxi was one of the important birthplaces of Chinese culture and a place with excellent educational resources. But in just two years, Zahoor Alam has become more fully aware of Shaanxi.

The reason why I am in Xi'an, Shaanxi Province, is that it is a beautiful historical city, where there are great Terracotta Warriors and so on.

It is also a beautiful modern city, which is similar to Beijing and Shanghai in China. Internet penetration rate remains very high. As long as you have a smart phone, you can solve all problems.

Shaanxi also has a very big advantage, that is, the price. Although it is also a modern metropolis, the price here is not high compared with Beijing. Moreover, it is also a place with abundant educational resources. The university is also one of the top military engineering universities in China.

In the start of epidemic, there was a panic situations and now the situations is normal everything has been restored. China successfully beat the virus.

Many students didn't come back to China for the reasons of epidemic, so we continued to learn online. I have spent mostly time in my room sleeping, learning and eating. Some time I can walk in our university or outside the university. Mostly running in our university ground. I am waiting eagerly to go back our class and labs because we are missing our university normal environment.

Shaanxi is also rich in ecological resources. Qinling is the geographical north-south boundary of China, and Mount Hua is also a very beautiful mountain.

The altitude of Mount Hua is relatively high, the mountain is precipitous and the scenery is beautiful. Overall Mount Hua is a very beautiful hiking place. I was so happy once I reached the peak that I have took a pictures. There are the most beautiful scenery and memories for me, especially when I enjoyed the sunset.
