Myanmar, Nepal sign MoUs on culture, tourism

NAY PYI TAW, Oct. 17 (Xinhua) -- Myanmar and Nepal signed two memorandums of understanding (MoU) Thursday on cooperation in culture and tourism.

The MoUs were signed at the Presidential Palace in Nay Pyi Taw by Myanmar Minister of Religious Affairs and Culture U Aung Ko and Minister of International Cooperation U Kyaw Tin respectively with Nepalese Foreign Minister Pradeep Kumar Gyawali in the presence of Myanmar's State Counselor Aung San Suu Kyi and Nepalese President Bidya Devi Bhandari.

Bhandari arrived here Wednesday on a state visit at the invitation of her Myanmar counterpart U Win Myint, who visited Kathmandu in August 2018.
