Dada Group, China’s leading local on-demand delivery and retail platform, announced Wednesday that JDDJ, the company’s local on-demand platform, has expanded its partnership with Apple authorized resellers and will sell the new iPhone 12 on its platform. 

Since September, dozens of Apple authorized resellers across China, including Hoosing, Shenzhen Coodoo, Meicheng, and Shundan, have launched their Apple stores on JDDJ. To date, nearly 500 Apple authorized stores having been exclusively integrated into JDDJ’s platform and in total, there are more than 1,000 stores participating in the sale of new iPhone 12 on JDDJ across more than 110 cities in China, including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Chengdu, Chongqing, Wuhan and Xi'an.

Consumers can use the JDDJ application and WeChat mini program to learn more about the product, and on October 23, when the new iPhone 12 officially goes on sale, users can place orders from nearby Apple authorized stores, JD stores and other digital brand stores on JDDJ’s platform. Once an order is placed, a nearby electronics store will fulfill the order and Dada Now, the local on-demand delivery platform of Dada Group, will provide fast home-delivery service, allowing users to enjoy the convenient shopping experience of one-hour delivery for digital products.

JDDJ has a strong track record providing and delivering electronic goods. During the launch of the iPhone SE2 in April 2020, many users placed orders on JDDJ for the first time. On the first sales day, it took only 15 minutes for some users to place and receive their orders.
