In June 2019, President Xi Jinping delivered an important speech at the 19th Meeting of the Council of Heads of State of The Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) in Bishkek, proposing the establishment of an SCO demonstration base in Shaanxi Province for exchange and training on agricultural technologies to strengthen cooperation on modern agriculture with other countries in the region. This year marks the first anniversary of President Xi Jinping's speech at the Shanghai Cooperation Summit. Norov, the Secretary-General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, deliveres a video speech to affirm the staged results of the Yangling Demonstration Zone in advancing the construction of the SCO Agricultural Base. He hopes that through joint efforts, we could contribute to the sustainable development of modern agriculture and the food security of countries and regions of Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
