On the afternoon of September 29th, the 2020 National Day · Mid-Autumn Festival Online Performance, also themed with "Affection for Home · Moon in Chang'an", was presented in the Shaanxi Little Swan Art Troupe to show gratitude to the overseas Chinese. More than two hundred people from the overseas Chinese community and representatives of the corresponding association watched the performance. Hao Yue, Chairman of the Shaanxi Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, expressed his blessings and greetings to the overseas Chinese, returned overseas Chinese, and their relatives. Cheng Miangui, Secretary of the Party Group of the Shaanxi Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, also attended the event.

This performance was sponsored by the Shaanxi Federation of Returned Overseas, mainly organized to promote the splendid culture of Shaanxi, appreciate the overseas Chinese communities for their contributions to the prevention and control of the epidemic in Shaanxi, and strengthen the bonding with overseas Chinese and related communities.

A special activity was arranged for overseas Chinese in the performance hosted by Shaanxi Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese. A dozen of overseas Chinese sent Mid-Autumn Festival wishes to their homeland and relatives in China through live video connections. Ms. Zhang Sujiu, current overseas consultant of the All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese and patriotic overseas Chinese leaders in the United States ,also sent a special video greeting.

Statistics shows that overseas Chinese whose ancestral home is in Shaanxi made 17.14 million yuan's worth of donations during the epidemic, which shows their care and support for the fight at home and the spirit of solidarity and partnership. As the virus spread overseas, Shaanxi Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese instantly sent consolation letters and "health kits" to overseas Chinese including students studying abroad. What Shaanxi Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese has done has reassured the public, boosted the confidence in defeating the virus, and expressed our care and concerns for overseas Chinese and study-abroad students.
