Jinyangou Valley lies near Jinyan Village, Luofu Town, Huayin City, Weinan, in the hinterland of the eastern part of the Qinling Mountains. The valley is a branch of Huayin Fuyu Valley, extending largely from west to east.
Lush vegetation and clear water
Jinyangou Valley can be up to 2458 meters high, and the average daily temperature in summer stands at 18.5℃. The valley is endowed with lush vegetation and crystal-clear waters.
Crescent Lake in the valley
The valley also boasts the only primeval forest near the Huashan Mountain, thick with towering trees. Due to the beautiful scenery, Jinyangou is billed as "Jiuzhaigou Valley in Shaanxi".

Jinyangou Valley has beautiful scenery all year around, with flowers all over the mountain in spring, lush trees in summer, colorful leaves in autumn and white snow in winter.
The valley covered in red leaves
Legend has it that Liu Xiu, Emperor Guangwu of the Eastern Han Dynasty, took refuge here. The valley preserves cultural relics such as Statue of Liu Xiu, Liu Xiu's Refuge, Hitching posts of Liu Xiu, Wine Shop, and Ancient Temple. Over 30 natural landscapes can be found in the valley, including Fishing Platform, Ladder to Heaven, Crescent Lake, 280-meter-high Cliff, Hole Mountain, Immortal's Cave, East Immortal's Hill, West Immortal's Hill, and Nantianmen Peak.
