ADDIS ABABA, Aug. 25 (Xinhua) -- The following are news highlights in Ethiopia's major media outlets on Sunday.
--The House of People's Representatives (HPR) on Saturday approved the draft proclamation on Ethiopian Electoral and Political Parties.
The endorsed electoral and political parties bill would govern the activities of political parties during election. (Ethiopian News Agency/ENA)
--Sustainable energy firm Gaia has signed an agreement with a waste-to-energy company to boost biomethane production in Ethiopia.
Gaia signed the agreement with 4R Energy to increase production and security of Ethiopia's energy supply, according to a report by ESI Africa. (Fana Broadcasting Corporate/FBC)
--The Council of Ministers has approved regulation on issuance of license for coal and chromite mining, and regulation that allows Maritime Affairs Authority to collect fees for services in order to minimize cost. (ENA)
