KIEV, Nov. 27 (Xinhua) -- A series of documents, including the Declaration on the Development of Strategic Partnership between Ukraine and Lithuania for 2020-2024, were signed following a meeting of the two heads of state Volodymyr Zelensky and Gitanas Nauseda in Vilnius, capital of Lithuania, on Wednesday, the Ukrainian president's press service said.
The joint declaration is supposed to become a road map for the development of Ukrainian-Lithuanian relations at the level of strategic partnership and envisages a series of joint actions in international and regional security spheres, economy, trade, and investment, as well as scientific, cultural and humanitarian cooperation.
A Declaration of Intent for Cooperation in Cyber Security between the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and the Ministry of National Defence of Lithuania was signed by Ukrainian Minister of Defense Andriy Zahorodniuk and Lithuanian Minister of National Defence Raimundas Karoblis.
According to the document, the two countries will provide for measures to develop the cooperation which would ensure quick response in case of a large-scale national or international cyber incidents. The parties also agreed to work on the exchange of information on cyber threats and attacks, and to develop a joint training plan.
