Two Chinese esports teams will attend this year's regional VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT) in Tokyo, Japan, on Sunday, to compete for the access to the global tournament.

Team EDG and Team ASE, the two highest-ranking teams from China, have earned their qualification through the FGC Valorant Invitational's Act 1.

All twelve teams from EMEA, Americas, Pacific, and China have made their way through a successful regional regular season and playoff run and the winner of Masters Tokyo will receive an extra slot at the Champions.

The event will take place at two locations. From June 11 to 21, the tournament will take place at the Tripstar Dome, located in Chibi Park. The final two days of the event will be at Makuhari Messe convention center outside of Tokyo.

The two Chinese teams will debut tomorrow at 2 pm BJT when Team ASE will face Team DRX from the Pacific and Team EDG will compete with Team T1, who are also from the Pacific tournament.
