Proposed by Chinese President Xi Jinping in 2013, the Belt and Road Initiative aims to strengthen interconnectivity in the areas of policy, infrastructure, trade, finance and non-governmental exchanges between China and the world. 

The People's Daily recently talked with international students from 22 countries who studied in China, listening to these young people's understanding of the mega initiative, which is yielding huge benefits to the countries along the route.
