China's classified online marketplace 58.com Inc has launched a user interaction platform encouraging users to share information and experiences over a wide field, the company's CEO Yao Jinbo announced on May 8.

Called "58 Buluo," the platform is a localized online community enabling mobile app users to share their experiences in many aspects of everyday life, from finding jobs, renting or buying a house, to giving birth to a baby, and interact with others having the same experiences or interests.

Based on 58.com's sprawling business activities, the new platform has been built to cover its 110 existing modules including career development, real estate, automobiles and dating, offering a service to the company's app users from 380 cities and over 10,000 towns across China.

Known as "China's Craigslist," the Beijing-based company is keen to not only provide mere information as a local O2O space, but also improve its user experience in various parallel sectors, the company said.

Yao said the company will move from being just a classified advertising site to one that is more focused on personalized and targeted service through AI and big data technologies to better meet user demand and provide efficient solutions.
