Approval for Irish beef imports

China has approved imports of frozen boneless beef from three Irish beef processors, Ireland's national broadcaster RTE said on Monday, citing Minister for Agriculture Michael Creed.

The approval gives Ireland access to the world's fastest-growing beef market and second-largest importer for the first time.

Dublin is hoping for approval for a further five plants, the report added.
