BEIJING, March 25 (Xinhua) -- Bank of Communications, one of China's largest commercial banks, saw robust profit growth in 2021 due to a steadily expanding business scale and stable net interest margin.
Net profits jumped 11.89 percent year on year to 87.58 billion yuan (13.74 billion U.S. dollars) last year, the bank said in a report filed with the Shanghai Stock Exchange.
Revenues reached 269.75 billion yuan, up 9.33 percent year on year.
The lender's total assets amounted to 11.67 trillion yuan at the end of last year, up 9.05 percent from the end of 2020.
By the end of 2021, the bank's non-performing loan ratio stood at 1.48 percent, down 0.19 percentage points from a year ago.
