BEIJING, Feb. 22 (Xinhua) -- The value of bonds issued in China last month totaled 2.9 trillion yuan (about 414 billion U.S. dollars), official data showed.

The value of treasury bonds stood at 170 billion yuan, while that of local government bonds was 785 billion yuan, according to the People's Bank of China.

Financial bonds issued in January were valued at 456.6 billion yuan, and corporate debentures at 826.7 billion yuan.

At the end of last month, total outstanding bonds reached 100.4 trillion yuan, showed the data.
