BEIJING, July 10 (Xinhua) - China's benchmark Shanghai Composite Index opened at 3,418.93 points on Friday, down 0.92 percent.

The Shenzhen Component Index opened 0.67 percent lower at 13,662.38 points.   

The ChiNext Index, China's NASDAQ-style board of growth enterprises, was down 0.47 percent to open at 2,744.61 points Friday.
