Chinese automaker Anhui Jianghuai Automobile Group Corp., Ltd. (JAC) reported rising sales in June.

JAC sold 41,400 cars last month, up 30.37 percent year on year, the company said in a statement filed with the Shanghai Stock Exchange.

In the first half the year, JAC sold 209,370 cars, down 10.97 percent from last year.

The shares of the Shanghai-listed automaker surged by the daily limit of 10 percent to close at 11 yuan (about 1.57 US dollars) apiece Friday.
