More than 770 Chinese companies exhibited their latest products and technologies during the 59th International Funkausstellung Berlin (IFA) held at Messe Berlin from Sept. 6 to Sept. 11, People's Daily reported.

As the world's leading trade show for consumer electronics and home appliances, IFA attracted a total of 1,939 exhibitors this year.

Chinese exhibitors often surprise the world in leading technologies such as 5G TV, foldable phones as well as smart home products, said Kay Carsten Olhoeft, founder of Technikfaultier, the most influential We media of technology assessment in Germany.

Galanz, one of China's leading enterprises in the household electrical appliances industry, displayed a mini-cosmetics refrigerator. Designed to store facial masks and cream only, the refrigerator is controlled by Wi-Fi and recommends five temperature variations depending on the requirements of the skin care products inside.

65 percent of the company's products are sold overseas. Furthermore, it is now strengthening research and development of core technologies to further promote the brand.

Chinese mobile giant Huawei unveiled its new Kirin 990 chipset series, including 990 5G, the world's first 5G-integrated chipset at the IFA.

Chinese companies need such a platform to grasp new trends in the consumer electronics industry as well as to enhance their brand value overseas and become more competitive compared with other global competitors, said Li Dongsheng, founder of TCL Corporation, a domestic multinational electronics company.
