BEIJING, Feb. 19 (Xinhua) -- Chinese stocks closed higher on Friday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 0.57 percent, at 3,696.17 points.

The Shenzhen Component Index closed 0.35 percent higher at 15,823.11 points.
