BEIJING, July 3 (Xinhua) - China's major stock indices ended lower in the morning session Wednesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 0.7 percent at 3,022.7 points.

The Shenzhen Component Index closed 0.6 percent lower at 9,487.3 points at midday.
