BEIJING, Jan. 8 (Xinhua) -- China's major stock indices ended mixed in the morning session Tuesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 0.2 percent at 2,527.95 points.

The Shenzhen Component Index gained 0.02 percent to end at 7,401.84 points at midday.
