BEIJING, June 4 (Xinhua) -- Chinese stocks closed mixed on Thursday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 0.14 percent, at 2,919.25 points.

The Shenzhen Component Index closed 0.28 percent higher at 11,139.26 points.
