BEIJING, Dec. 15 (Xinhua) -- Chinese stocks closed mixed on Thursday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 0.25 percent to 3,168.65 points.

The Shenzhen Component Index closed 0.32 percent higher at 11,358.11 points.
