BEIJING, Nov. 18 (Xinhua) -- Chinese stocks closed mixed Wednesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 0.22 percent at 3,347.3 points.

The Shenzhen Component Index closed 0.54 percent lower at 13,658.2 points.

The ChiNext Index, tracking China's NASDAQ-style board of growth enterprises, lost 1.41 percent to close at 2,620.67 points Wednesday.
