BEIJING, July 31 (Xinhua) -- China's major stock indices ended mixed in the morning session Friday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 0.05 percent at 3,285.12 points.

The Shenzhen Component Index went up 0.42 percent to end at 13,522.77 points.
