BEIJING, April 14 (Xinhua) -- China's major stock indices ended higher in the morning session Tuesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index ending 0.68 percent higher at 2,801.95 points.

The Shenzhen Component Index rose 1.25 percent to end at 10,350.54 points at midday.
