BEIJING, Nov. 14 (Xinhua) -- China's major stock indices ended higher in the morning session Thursday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index ending 0.07 percent higher at 2,907.23 points.

The Shenzhen Component Index rose 0.36 percent to end at 9,722.8 points at midday.
