BEIJING, Oct. 29 (Xinhua) -- China's major stock indices ended higher in the morning session Thursday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 0.08 percent at 3,271.72 points.
The Shenzhen Component Index rose 0.83 percent to end at 13,499.42 points at midday.
