BEIJING, April 28 (Xinhua) -- China's major stock indices ended higher in the morning session Tuesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index ending 0.11 percent higher at 2,818.48 points.
The Shenzhen Component Index grew 0.79 percent to end at 10,534.52 points at midday.
The ChiNext Index, tracking China's NASDAQ-style board of growth enterprises, grew 1.29 percent to 2,044.66 points in the morning session.
