BEIJING, Aug. 27 (Xinhua) -- China's major stock indices ended higher in the morning session Tuesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 1.68 percent at 2911.62 points.
The Shenzhen Component Index went up 2.25 percent to end at 9479.25 points at midday.
