BEIJING, Sept. 23 (Xinhua) -- China's major stock indexes ended higher in the morning session Wednesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 0.02 percent at 3,275.09 points.

The Shenzhen Component Index gained 0.37 percent to end at 13,071.03 points at midday.
