BEIJING, Nov. 4 (Xinhua) -- China's major stock indices ended higher in the morning session Wednesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 0.03 percent at 3,272.06 points.

The Shenzhen Component Index edged up 0.31 percent to end at 13,621.65 points at midday.
