BEIJING, July 9 (Xinhua) -- China's major stock indices ended lower in the morning session Tuesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 0.57 percent at 2,916.78 points.
The Shenzhen Component Index was 0.5 percent lower at 9,140.35 points at midday.
