BEIJING, Dec. 29 (Xinhua) - China's major stock indices ended lower in the morning session Tuesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 0.33 percent at 3,386.14 points.

The Shenzhen Component Index decreased 0.34 percent to end at 13,996.59 points at midday.

The ChiNext Index, tracking China's NASDAQ-style board of growth enterprises, went down 0.77 percent to 2,820.93 points in the morning session Tuesday.
