BEIJING, Jan. 15 (Xinhua) - China's major stock indices ended lower in the morning session Wednesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index ending 0.66 percent lower at 3,086.33 points.

The Shenzhen Component Index lost 0.62 percent to end at 10,921.18 at midday.  

The ChiNext Index, tracking China's NASDAQ-style board of growth enterprises, went down 0.42 percent to 1,914.43 points in the morning session Wednesday.
