BEIJING, Aug. 28 (Xinhua) -- China's major stock indices ended lower in the morning session Wednesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 0.33 percent at 2892.7 points.

The Shenzhen Component Index went down 0.39 percent to end at 9406.1 points at midday.
