BEIJING, Aug. 4 (Xinhua) -- China's major stock indices ended mixed in the morning session Tuesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 0.09 percent at 3,371 points.

The Shenzhen Component Index fell 0.58 percent to end at 13,882.94 points at midday.
