BEIJING, Dec. 22 (Xinhua) - China's major stock indices ended mixed in the morning session Tuesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 0.2 percent at 3,413.83 points.

The Shenzhen Component Index increased 0.16 percent to end at 14,157.77 points at midday.

The ChiNext Index, tracking China's NASDAQ-style board of growth enterprises, gained 0.05 percent to 2,883.94 points in the morning session Tuesday.
