BEIJING, Jan. 19 (Xinhua) -- China's major stock indices ended mixed in the morning session Tuesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index closing flat at 3,596.1 points.

The Shenzhen Component Index went down 0.75 percent to end at 15,154.9 points at midday.
