BEIJING, July 3 (Xinhua) - Chinese stocks opened higher on Friday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 0.43 percent to open at 3,104 points.

The Shenzhen Component Index opened 0.21 percent higher at 12,295.62 points. 

The ChiNext Index, China's NASDAQ-style board of growth enterprises, was up 0.08 percent to open at 2,426.3 points Friday.
