BEIJING, June 14 (Xinhua) -- Chinese stocks opened higher on Friday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 0.08 percent to open at 2,913 points.

The Shenzhen Component Index opened 0.06 percent higher at 8,956.92 points.
