BEIJING, Feb. 22 (Xinhua) -- Chinese stocks opened mixed Monday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 0.3 percent to open at 3,707.19 points.

The Shenzhen Component Index opened 0.03 percent lower at 15,818.77 points.

The ChiNext Index, tracking China's NASDAQ-style board of growth enterprises, was down 0.21 percent to open at 3,278.59 points.
