BEIJING, Jan. 19 (Xinhua) -- Chinese stocks opened mixed on Tuesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index opening flat at 3,596.36 points.

The Shenzhen Component Index opened 0.06 percent higher at 15,278.53 points.
