BEIJING, Dec. 11 (Xinhua) -- Chinese stocks opened mixed on Wednesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 0.18 percent to open at 2,922.6 points.

The Shenzhen Component Index opened 0.1 percent lower at 9,905.91 points.
The ChiNext Index, China's NASDAQ-style board of growth enterprises, was down 0.21 percent to open at 1,730.4 points.
