DALIAN, Oct. 15 (Xinhua) -- Corn futures opened lower Thursday in daytime trading on the Dalian Commodity Exchange (DCE).

The most active corn contract for January 2021 delivery dipped 9 yuan (1.34 U.S. dollars) to open at 2,566 yuan per tonne.
