NEW YORK, June 5 (Xinhua) -- U.S. stocks ended sharply higher on Friday.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average jumped 829.16 points, or 3.15 percent, to 27,110.98. The S&P 500 increased 81.58 points, or 2.62 percent, to 3,193.93. The Nasdaq Composite Index rose 198.27 points, or 2.06 percent, to 9,814.08.
