Chinese shares mixed at midday Wednesday

BEIJING, June 1 (Xinhua) -- China's major stock indices ended mixed in the morning session Wednesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 0.02 percent at 3,185.77 points.

The Shenzhen Component Index gained 0.42 percent to 11,575.91 points at midday.
